Brian Toval, founder of Brian Toval and The Vision, has spent decades sharing his original music and message of hope through powerful, soul-stirring performances. A graduate in Medical Technology, he has also excelled as an analyst and project manager, renowned for leading complex initiatives with clarity and purpose.
His wife, Jo Ann Toval, met Brian in college, marking the beginning of a lifelong partnership rooted in faith, music, and mutual respect. They married in July 1981. Jo Ann earned a master’s degree in nursing and went on to establish and lead a Nursing Informatics Department. Like Brian, she thrived in the field of information systems as an analyst and project manager, leaving a lasting legacy of excellence in healthcare technology.
Beyond her professional achievements, Jo Ann is a pianist, vocalist, and former church choir director. Although music had always been a shared passion, it wasn’t until August 2024—during a special performance for Brian’s birthday—that she joined The Vision on stage for the first time. Her presence added a new dimension to the band’s sound and mission. Reflecting on the moment, Brian remarked, “I couldn’t see the forest for the trees.” He was married to the band’s new lead singer.
Together, Brian and Jo Ann embody a unique blend of talent, devotion, and spiritual harmony. Audiences often say they can feel their love for each other in every performance. For them, music is more than entertainment—it is a ministry of encouragement, unity, and love.
